Our Story
Union Orthotics & Prosthetics is a veteran owned and operated business located in the heart of Monroe, North Carolina. With over 30 years of experience and a patient centered focus, we take every step necessary to ensure that our patients feel cared for, supported, and understood.
In March of 2024, Union O&P merged with Victory Shoe Repair. This change has given us the ability to offer a wider variety of services to our customers. Along with offering the traditional orthotic and prosthetic services, we now offer a full array of shoe repair services.

Our Staff
Chris Huffstetler, BOCPO
Chris was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina. In 1988, he began his journey in the O&P world as a technician for a facility in his home town. In 1990, he took a brief hiatus when he enlisted in the US Navy and was deployed to Desert Shield/Desert Storm on the USS Tarawa. After getting out of the US Navy , Chris returned to O&P where he has adopted a patient focused approach that centers around truly understanding his patients needs, and going above and beyond to help them improve their mobility and quality of life.
Chris currently resides in Matthews, North Carolina with his wife and son.
